Effective 5 September 2026
League Tonight makes short cartoon video episodes about a fantasy football league, from that league's own data. This policy covers this website, the waitlist, and the service once your league is connected.
This website
The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. Pages are served by Vercel, our hosting provider, which receives the ordinary request data a browser sends (your IP address, browser type, the page requested) and handles it under its own policy. Fonts are served from our own site, not a third party.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist we collect your email address, which platform your league is on, roughly how many teams it has, and, if you give it, the league's name. We store that in our own database, hosted by Neon in the United States, along with the time you signed up and the kind of browser you used. We use this information only to tell you when your league can be connected and to decide which platforms to support first. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else. Email hello@leaguetonight.com at any time to be removed.
Your league's data, once connected
To make episodes we read your fantasy league's publicly viewable game data from ESPN, Sleeper or Yahoo: team names, rosters, lineups, scores, standings, transactions and the calendar. We store weekly snapshots of that data so an episode can always be traced back to exactly what it was made from.
- We only read leagues that are set to be viewable by the public. We never ask for, store or use a fantasy platform password, session cookie or login of any kind.
- Managers appear in episodes as their team names. Where a platform exposes a display name, it is used only if your league opts in.
- Episode audio is generated with a third-party text-to-speech provider and the script is drafted and checked with a third-party language model. They receive the script text and the league facts needed to check it, not your email address or credentials.
Episodes
Episodes are delivered as unlisted links. They are not published anywhere public by us. Where you post them is your choice.
Retention and deletion
Waitlist entries are kept until your league is connected or you ask to be removed. League snapshots and episodes are kept for the season plus one year so the league can revisit them, then deleted. Disconnecting a league stops all reading immediately and deletes its data on request.
When account sign-in launches, it will use Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. We receive your name and email address from the provider and nothing else; we never see a password.
Children
The service is for adults who run or play in fantasy leagues. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date.
